Letters from the owners

Just wanted to let you know how the Rue did this last week during her testing to National Search and Rescue standards.

Rudee is now certified as a NASAR SARTECH III-Area search dog, and a NASAR HRD-Land (cadaver) dog. She has done excellent! We are going after her national water certs in August.

Now as far as our local stuff goes, she is now operational in cadaver, and hopefully we will get her water tests done this next weekend and continue to work on her area and trailing.

So, she is doing very well! She is such a good dog and a blast to have around!

HI;

Just wanted to update you on Rudee's progress!

Yesterday she took her national avalanche test and certified beautifully!
She found her 2 buried subjects, in a blizzard on top of Big Mountain, in 3 minutes! What a girl! They called her "chocolate lightning"!

So to date, in case I haven't briefed you, she is certified in Flathead
County:
Avalanche Responder
Water (lake and river)
Cadaver (land)

Certified with NASAR (National Association of Search and Rescue):
Canine SARTECH III-Area
HRD-Land
HRD-Water
Avalanche

Not bad for this coming 2 year old lady!
